Tip number 4: have a dog that's 89 years old and doesn't want to move
My dog just flops in the tub and lay there until im done giving his bath. I never trained him he was like that since he was a pup.

Please do NOT flip a large dog like that. It can cause GDV/bloat in large dogs with narrow chests, progresses quickly, and is fatal if untreated.
“The twisting causes the distended stomach to press onto large blood vessels, disrupting the blood flow to internal organs, including stopping the blood flow to the stomach and spleen. Dogs who experience GDV go into shock quickly. It can also affect breathing since the swelling limits chest movement.”

Step one: have him not run the second you have the hose in hand
My first service dog used to hate baths until I bought a lick mat and put dog safe peanut butter on it and she LOVED baths after that. I also trained her to lay on her back between my legs when I clipped her nails. Before I started clipping her nails I would rub her belly for a bit, then I'd clip her nails and rub her belly for 10 or 15 minutes. She absolutely loved belly rubs and every time I pulled out the nail clippers she would get excited. With my current service dog, he hates getting his nails clipped and he doesn't really like baths but he doesn't try to escape the tub, he just stands there. So I train him a bit before I bathe him so he's excited and food motivated so when he jumps inside of the bath tub, he's still excited and wants treats. So I give him lots of treats and praise and it makes the experience better for both of us!

PRO TIP FOR BATHING A DOG WITHOUT A FIGHT: BORROW A DOG WHO LOVES BEING BATHED IN ICE COLD HOSE WATER…not really a professional dog grooming tip but okay.
QUESTION MR. PRO. DO YOU PRO GROOM ALL DOGS IN YOUR DRIVEWAY? AND HOW DO YOU DRY THEM? TELL THEM TO SIT BEHIND THE RUNNING VEHICLES EXHAUST?
Pro tip to washing a cat squirt shampoo into a clean toilet quickly place cat in toilet quickly close the lid….cat will agitate the water shapoo mixture and self cleans wait 30 seconds while firmly holding lid down . Then flush several times while cat agitates and rinses itself . Next with bathroom door open carefully but quickly open lid and stand back so cat can exit the toilet. Once you locate the cat wrap it in a warm dry towel . These instructions are in no way professional but given to me by my dog Oggie who has a love hate relationship with my cat Tyson.

Here's a pro tip don't use the hose to wash your dog unless it's a really hot summer day. I don't know about y'all but I definitely do not like to take cold cold showers.
