17. I work with dogs and I do not believe in shock devices, vibrations I'm okay with but shocking no. That's like me tasing you whenever you're being annoying. All in opinion. Shock devises actually can cause even worse behavior in your dog. Try the new bark collar that has only a vibration. Only a matter of opinion.

21. Hi David! Should the probe covers be on or off? We feel the shock when we test with the covers on but it doesn't seem like our dog responds to the shock at all regardless of the level. We're scared to hurt/ burn the dog, i assume the covers protect from burn

Straight from the reviewer “He’s huffing now because the collar is working, it vibrated and now he's scared he's gonna get shocked.” 🙄😡 Of course he’s going to be scared. Dogs communicate through barking. There’s a good chance you have an unrealistic expectation of what an appropriate amount of barking is. Even more likely, if you’re shopping for a shock collar to stop barking it may be YOU the owner who’s failing your dog with lack of proper exercise/enrichment/socialization/ training. Don’t get a dog if you aren’t willing to learn dog behavior and aren’t willing to put in the hard work it can take to humanely train your dog.
